Adam Kinzinger, Robin Kelly Re-introduce Anti-Trafficking Bill

January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Congressman Adam Kinzinger and Congresswoman Robin Kelly are showing a bipartisan effort to help trafficking victims.

The lawmakers have re-introduced H.R.332, the Reducing the Demand for Human Trafficking Act, for the 117th Congress. The bill amends the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 to encourage a more victim-centered approach to combat human trafficking.

Kinzinger said, “Human trafficking is happening all across America, and the State of Illinois ranks among the highest in trafficking rates nationwide. Human trafficking is often hidden in plain sight, but it is happening here in Illinois and across the country.”
