Altercation leads to 2 arrests in Iroquois County

A Yorkville man and a woman from Orland Park face charges after a domestic altercation at a rural Ashkum farm site Wednesday. Both were arrested by Iroquois County Sheriff's police.

31-year-old Dominic Middono is jailed in Watseka. He'll be in court today. 37-year-old Tina Renaldi posted bond.

Sheriff's Police were dispatched to the rural address in reference to a domestic altercation. Police said Middono had threatened to harm Renaldi and unlawfully restrained her from leaving the property.

Deputies had visited the same location for a verbal dispute earlier in the day. Renaldi then, was trespassing and warned not to return to the property.

Police reported while attempting to take Middono into custody, he allegedly resisted and was forced to the ground and apprehended. He also gave police a fictitious name.

Middono is charged with aggravated unlawful restraint, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing identification and resisting a police officer. Renaldi was arrested for criminal trespass to land.
