Another COVID-19 death in Kankakee County, Iroquois County confirms 8th positive case

An elderly male in his 80's became the 8th person to die of COVID-19 (cornovirus disease) in Kankakee County.  The Public Health Department updated its numbers Thursday afternoon. The county now has 163 confirmed cases, up 22 from Wednesday.  Seventeen people have tempered the disease and are now recovered.

Iroquois County Public Health recorded its 8th positive case (Thursday).  It's a female in her 40's. The county is reporting the results of two females and six males, ranging in age from 20's to their 70's.

Ford County Public Health will begin providing daily updates on COVID-19 cases to keep citizens awart op the figures and resources avaiulable.  Ford County has tree confirmed cases.

Livingston and Grundy County each have 10 cases.  McLean County added six new cases, now up to 69.
