Another nickel increase….THAT’S the price hike for gas in Illinois. The price increased 5-cents since yesterday (Mon). The average price for regular gas in Illinois is now $5.45.
Area prices very depending on which community you’re in. The Iroquois County price is $5.08 per gallon. The Kankakee average is $5.21 a gallon…a hike of 9-cents from Monday.

Indiana prices also vary….up a penny in Newton County; the average price is $5.04 per gallon.
