Illinois’ Consolidated Election is April 4 (2017). And petition filing is underway. Filing will continue this week and end next Monday afternoon.

City/village positions for mayors, aldermen/trustees, Township and school board positions, and park and library trustee seats are all part of the election. Referendums can also be held.

Candidates need to file petitions by 5 pm December 19th.
Primary elections, if necessary, would be held in February.
