Watseka Police are asking for the public's help in finding an armed robber.  It was early Sunday when the armed robbery was reported at the Gas Depot on West Walnut Street.  The incident occurred just before 3 am.

Police Chief Jeremy Douglas said a black male with a slender build and wearing a mask entered the business producing handgun.  He ordered the clerk to empty the register.  The suspect then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

No injury was reported.  Watseka Police ask anyone with information to contact police  at 815-432-4918.  Callers can remain anonymous.
