Arrest made in Bradley homicide

Bradley police have made an arrest in the investigation of a homicide Sunday afternoon.  25-year-old Joshua Zilm is charged with murder in the death of  39-year-old Scott  McLain .  The victim was found dead in a home in the 200-block of N. Clinton Avenue. 

An autopsy was scheduled for today, according to the Kankakee County Coroner's office.  The Daily-Journal reports it's the sixth homicide in Kankakee County this year.  

Bradley police responded to a 9-1-1 call just past 2 pm (Sunday) concerning a person having been shot. A news release from Bradley Police stated McLain was found dead on the floor of the home.  Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigators are assisting Bradley police in its investigation.
