Danville Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the robbery last week at Iroquois Federal. Detectives took 47-year-old Jeffrey Zook of Danville into custody (Wednesday) for the August 5th robbery.

Police said Zook called the department wanting to turn himself in. He was taken into custody without incident at about 11 am.

Zook is being held at the Public Safety Building on a preliminary charge of robbery.

Iroquois Federal Bank was robbed about 3 pm by a lone gunman. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. No money or weapon have been recovered.
