The shooting death of a 15-year-old boy in Kankakee now finds a juvenile facing 2-counts of murder. State’s Attorney Jim Rowe’s office reports a 16-year-old is being charged as an adult in the death of 15-year-old Maurice Wilson of Kankakee. The boy was shot and killed over the weekend along N. Washington Avenue. The 16-year-old is charged with First-Degree Murder. There’s also a charge of Aggravated Battery – with a Firearm.

Bond is set at $2-million. No word on a motive for the shooting.
