A fire of suspicious origins did major damage to biker hangout in Ashkum Saturday night.
The Stone Cold Motorcycle Club clubhouse caught fire about 8 o'clock Saturday evening and it took the efforts of several area fire departments to bring it under control.
The building is one of the oldest on Main Street in Ashkum, built around 1856.
The motorcycle club rehabbed the property about 4 years ago, fixed up the front room, and has using the building for social gatherings since that time.
Yellow police tape is keeping club members from getting inside to see if the old building can be repaired and saved.
It is expected the yellow tape will come down once a state fire marshal has completed an investigation.
