A house under renovations sustained damage in Kankakee Thursday afternoon. Kankakee Fire alerted to Rosewood and Station Streets about 3:15. Fire Chief Damon Schuldt said it was an attic fire that appeared to be accidental. No injuries. No damage estimates were available. Firemen were at the scene for an hour.
