Attorney seeks withdraw from Condon murder case

Defense attorney Ed Glazar Jr. says he hasn't been paid for his services, so he's asking the court to allow him to withdraw from representing Iroquois County murder suspect Andrew Condon.

Glazar's motion will be heard May 22nd and could result in the case being turned over to public defenders. And that would delay any trial schedule for the 34-year

The rural Ashkum man is accused of the fatal shooting of 27-year-old Jonathan Rubin of Danforth. Rubin was fatally shot in October of 2012 at the Gilman gas station where he worked.

Glazar has been onboard representing Condon since his November 2012 arrest on first-degree murder charges. Condon has pleaded innocent.
