An autopsy is planned today (Mon) after a Sunday morning ATV crash left a Philo teen dead in Champaign County.

Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup reported 19-year-old Annie Daly was a passenger on an ATV that crashed at a rural intersection about 2 miles south of Philo.

A Champaign County sheriff's report stated 24-year-old Katheryn Daly of Philo was driving the ATV southbound on County Road 1700 E through the intersection and was attempting to turn east onto County Road 600 N when the ATV overturned, throwing Annie Daly from the vehicle.

Annie Daly was taken to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was pronounced dead at 6:24 am Sunday.

Katheryn Daly was not hurt.

The death is being investigated by the Champaign County Coroner's Office and sheriff's office.
