A Watseka woman was arrested after hitting another woman with a baseball bat.  The alleged attack happened at a residence on Newell Street Saturday.  24-year-old Heather Brewer is charged with aggravated domestic battery. Watseka Police report officers were called to the location a second tme after some residents refused to leave the home.

Two people were arrested after Watseka officers responded to reports of shoplifters. 22-year-old Skilar Stone of Iroquois and 24-year-old Lauren Hall of Kentland, IN are charged with retail theft.

42-year-old Donald Jessie Jr. of Milford turned himself in at the Iroquois County Jail. He'll serve a sentence for aggravated battery.

A Chicago man is in custody in Watseka.  34-year-old Donte Wade was arrested by Iroquois County Sheriff's Police on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear for a DUI charge.
