A five-year-old Indiana boy is dead, an alleged drowning victim in a bathtub near Monticello. Ian Davidson was found by s family member about 6 pm, according to Indiana State Police.

An investigation continues. An autopsy is planned.

According to Indiana State Police, a call was made to 911 and a neighbor who is a paramedic came to the residence and started CPR.

Monticello Fire Department transported the boy to IU White Memorial Hospital. He was later airlifted to Riley Hospital in Indianapolis where he was pronounced dead just before 2 am Thursday.

Davidson's parents, (Eric Davidson and Julia Moore), were at the home at the time of the drowning. There have not been any charges at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
