Battle of the Badges: Kankakee Police Department and Kankakee Firefighters square off in a charity basketball game.

A basketball benefit today (Monday) will benefit the families of two Bradley police officers. The public is invited to join the Kankakee Police Department and Kankakee Firefighters Local 653 as they square off in the charity game. It’s from 7 – 9 pm at the KVPD Rec Center at 150 N. Indiana Avenue. $5 dollars per person.

Proceeds will benefit the families of Bradley Police Sergeant Marlene Rittmanic and Officer Tyler Bailey.
