A 2-way GOP race for the Benton County Sheriff nomination was won by John Cox Tuesday.  Cox far outdistanced Donald Zickmund, 75%  to 25%.  Vote totals show Cox with 1363 votes to 461 for Zickmund.  

The Republican primary results for sheriff in Carroll County was won by Tony Liggett over Mike Thomas and Lee Hoard. 

The Fountain County Sheriff contest on the GOP ticket went to Terry Holt over Bobby Bass 68 to 32%. 

Other area races >  for Benton County Prosecutor, Rex Kepner defeated Jeanna Pitstick 66 to 44% of the vote.  The GOP White County Prosecutors race was won by Mark Delgado ver Stacey Diener, 58 to 42%.
