President Biden is keeping the focus on efforts to curb soaring inflation. Visiting the family farm of Jeff O’Connor in Kankakee County, Biden noted ongoing supply chain bottlenecks that grew out of the COVID pandemic. Meantime, Biden put out a statement after the release of the latest Consumer Price Index. He said it's "heartening to see that annual inflation moderated in April." Biden added inflation remains unacceptably high.
