A fourth person in the last week has died in a crash in Iroquois County. A 22-year-old man from Blue Island was pronounced dead at the scene of a 2-vehicle crash on I-57 north of Onarga. A press release from coroner Bill Cheatum states the driver was southbound when the driver crossed the median and hit a semi head-on. Illinois State Police investigated at 1:40 pm. Onarga Fire and Riverside Ambulance also answered the call.
Two others died in a crash last Friday north of Cissna Park. And a L'Erable man was killed in a rollover accident last Friday, also in Iroquois County.
