Kankakee City Police were put on alert (Tuesday) when a caller told 9-1-1 dispatchers there was an explosive inside the Walmart Supercenter on Riverstone Parkway.  The store was evacuated when the call came in.  A search found nothing and the stoire was reopened about 1 pm.  City Police and the Kankakee County Sheriff's Department responded., Kankakee Police Chief Robin Passwater Passwater said anyone with information about the caller responsible is asked to call detectives at 815-933-0426.
