Bourbonnais businessmen plead guilty in federal court

URBANA --- Fifty-four year-old Greg Yates and his son, Terrance Yates, have pleaded guilty for defrauding a federal business loan program out of $1.7 million dollars.

Both men face sentencing in May, according to the U-S Attorney's Office. They could be sentenced up to 30 years in prison.

Greg and Terrance Yates admitted to using a construction project in Casey (IL) to gain the $1.7 million in federal grants.
