The American Red Cross is assisting a Bourbonnais family whose house was damaged by fire this (Friday morning. Four family members and their pets escaped the fire in the 800-block of Heather Drive.

Damage estimates were listed at $30,000, according to Bourbonnais Fire Protection Chief Ed. St. Louis.
