The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Kankakee County man (Monday). 26-year-old Josh Larry of Bourbonnais faces several charges after refusing to cooperate with officers during a traffic stop. He was stopped for speeding. He also failed to pull over for the officer. Larry then fled from officers before eventually being pulled over again near the Illinois River Bridge.
Police reported Larry refused to cooperate when ordered to exit his vehicle. He ignored several orders to get out of his vehicle and then put the window up on the Deputy’s arm when the remainder of the window was then removed, and the door was able to be opened.
Larry was removed from the vehicle and taken into custody placed into handcuffs. Charges included Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer, Resisting and Obstructing Arrest along with a citation for Speeding, Fleeing and Eluding, and for No Valid Driver`s License.
