Illinois State Police (ISP) District 21 Troopers investigated a traffic crash with personal injuries on Illinois Route 1/17 near 2300 North in Kankakee County.  21-year-old Alejandro Velazquez of Bradley was charged with Driving While Under the Influence (DUI) and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.  No other details were provided about the accident.  Velazquez was issued a notice to appear for a future court appearance for the DUI.
