Bradley Police Officer improving, released from ICU

Bradley Police Officer Tyler Bailey shot in the line of duty last month is recovering.  His family reports he's been moved from ICU and is getting standard hospital care.  He's now listed in stable condition.  The family also reports Tyler is expected to be released from hospital care and will continue his rehab as his next step toward recovery.

Bailey and Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic were shot while responding to a routine call at a Bradley hotel December 29.  Sgt. Rittmanic died from her injuries.  Two people are jailed charged with the crime.

A fundraiser at the Northfield Square Mall Sunday raised  nearly $90,000.  Proceeds will benefit the officers' families.
