Brittany Fischer crowned Iroquois Fair Queen

Nineteen-year-old Brittany Fischer of Watseka is the new queen of the Iroquois County 4-H and Agricultural Fair. She was crowned Wednesday night at the Crescent City fairgrounds.

Brittany is the daughter of Darrin and Julie Fischer.

The new 2014 queen was crowned by her cousin, the outgoing 2013 fair queen, Kymber Nakaerts of Clifton. The pageant marked the 44th year for the annual event to get the county fair underway.

First runner-up was Casey Widholm of Clifton. Second runner-up was Alison Hamrick of Iroquois. Miss Congeniality went to Courtney Bossong of Watseka.
