The popular Brother George food truck service in Kankakee sustained a $50,000 loss Thursday when fire consumed the vehicle. No one was injured, but trailers and a truck was listed a total loss, according to the Kankakee Fire Department. Fire personnel responded to a call at 1 pm to find the Brothers BBQ Trailer involved in flames. Fire crews quickly extinguished the flames. The cause is being investigated, but appears to have been a mechanical issue with the generator and propane tanks. The business trailer and pickup truck was a total loss.
