The magic of Christmas is high-lighted at the Perry Farm in Bourbonnais.  The Bourbonnais Township Park District is hosting "Christmas on the Farm" this Saturday, December 3 from 9am 'til 3 pm.  Santa Claus spends time with the kids and several activities include carriage rides, refreshments, and just plain "magical fun and smiles," according to Park District Marketing Director Cherie Smolkovich. 

Christmas Fun in Bourbonnais  >

Bourbonnais hosts 'Rockin 'round the Christmas Tree' as Santa Claus arrived for the annual tree lighting in the village Thursday evening.  Mayor Paul Schore said upwards of 300 people were on hand for the tree lighting at the intersection of Route 102 and Rt. 45.  Students sang Christmas Carols.  The Village is also hosting its "Very Merry Coloring Contest."  Entries are due by December 12.

Christmas in Manteno  >

The Holiday Business Walk is part of the Chrtistmas fun in the Village of Manteno.  The Square on Second kicks off just before 1 pm Saturday with Santa's parade.  Children can visit with Santa from 1-5 pm.  The Holiday Business Walk is from 2 'til 4:45 pm.  Christmas Tree Lane  finds more than 40 trees decorated on display at the Square on Second.  A tree lighting ceremony is set for 5:30 pm.  More info at villageofmanteno.com
