It's an ongoing investigation after a gruesome discovery in Iroquois County.  A deceased body was discovered inside the fuel compartment of a tanker-trailer parked in rural Buckley.  Friday morning's discovery led to several response teams moving in to investigate.  The Iroquois County Sheriff's Office and the Coroner's Office are investigating.

The deceased body of 29-year-old Garrett Meyer of Nashville (IL) was removed from the trailer late Friday afternoon.  Buckley, Paxton and Urbana fire personnel assisted in removing the body.  A Hazmat team was also called in retrieve the body.  The Department of Criminal Investigations of the Illinois State Police is also assisting. Coroenr Bill Cheatum said an autopsy was completed in Champaign.  Toxicology results are pending.
