A 32-year-old Buckley man was killed Monday night during what Rantoul Police say was a  a reported home invasion in Rantoul.  Blake Williams suffered a fatal shotgun blast to the chest.  He died at the scene.  The Rantoul Police Department said in a news release police were called to a reported home invasion in the 1300 block of Abram Drive around 8:23 pm.  Police were told that Williams had arrived at the residence and forced his way inside.  A struggle resulted in a shotgun blast. 

The resident living there, 51-year-old Antonio Davis, was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and was taken to the Champaign County jail.
The incident remained under investigation.
