It's been a while, but the Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed some 35 members and friends for man evening of fellowship Wednesday. The Iroquois County Historical Society (ICHS) hosted Business After Hours at the 154-year-old Old Courthouse Museum in Watseka.
The COVID-19 pandemic had slowed the gathering of people. Now, after a year- and-a-half, over 35 chamber members and guests attended the Business After Hours event. Executive Director of the Chamber, Amanfa Hibbs, welcomed members, employees, and guests. She then introduced Diane Gagnon, President of the ICHS, who introduced the Society's Board of Directors.
Christmas Tree Lane is the current attraction at the Old Courthouse, the ICHS welcomes visitors to tour the two-floors of the Courthouse and cast a ballot for your favorite decorated trees. The gallery of trees is open now through December 23. The Historical Sunday is hosting an OPen House Sunday, December 5th from 1-4 pm.
