160M Americans Hitting Black Friday Sales

An estimated 160-million Americans are hitting up Black Friday sales. Shoppers looking for the best deals barely finished their Thanksgiving turkeys before heading out for their annual all-nighter.

The Big R Store in Watseka welcomed holiday shoppers (Friday) for its annual Black Friday Sales. A ‘live’ on-air remote broadcast on 94.1 WGFA featured store officials and customers.

Clothing and toys are popular, but others were hunting for electronics, including laptops, big screen TVs and smartphones. Retailers count on Black Friday, along with Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, for up to 40-percent of yearly sales.
