Carle Health and Aetna strike deal

Carle Health and Aetna are striking a deal that allows retired state employees to continue to see their Carle doctors at an in-network rate next year. Retirees and their dependents were given just one state-sponsored plan to choose from. They've been questioning whether the new Aetna plan would mean losing the doctors they have been seeing for decades. Officials say the finalization of the new contract will allow Medicare-eligible state retirees to continue to be seen by the Carle providers. The contract still needs to be signed.
