Carol Arseneau back in charge of Loda government

She served eight years as mayor Loda. Now, Carol Arseneau is doing it again.

Arseneau has replaced embattled Village president Ron Dudley, who resigned after a no-confident vote from the village trustees. Arseneau was sworn in and will fill Dudley's term for the next 18 months, until the April 2017 municipal election. The village trustees selected Arseneau for the job.

Arseneau served the last two years as a village trustee. She was mayor for eight years, choosing not to seek another term as leader of the village. Dudley was elected to fill the top post.

Arseneau had previously served as board president for the eight years until opting to run instead for a trustee position in 2013.

With Arseneau vacating her trustee seat, there are now two spots available on the village board.
