Law enforcement agencies are encouraging motorists to use caution with increased farm equipment on roadways.  Illinois and Indiana State Police, IDOT,  and local police emphasize the importance of cautious driving and heightened awareness as farm equipment moves from field to field on rural and state highways.  

The presence of farm equipment becomes more obvious while adding to congestion on many routes.  The machinery often brings obstructed visibility and slow-moving situations that requires motorists to use extra caution and patience. Transportation officials urge all drivers to share the road.
