Retiring Ford County Sheriff Mark Doran steps aside in favor of Chad Johnson. Johnson is a former Captain with the Paxton Police Department. Johnson ran unopposed as a Republican in November. Doran, meanwhile, completed his 4-year term in office and did not seek re-election.

Ford County Clerk & Recorder Amy Frederick and County Treasurer Krisha Shoemaker also were recently sworn-in for respective 4-year terms in office.
