A 28-year-old Livingston County man was sentenced to 30 years in prison after his plea in Livingston County Court. Michael Measaw of Chatsworth entered a blind guilty plea to one count of armed robbery, two counts of home invasion, and residential burglary.
Measaw was sentenced by Livingston County Judge Jennifer Bauknecht in late December. Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress said Measaw and 27-year-old Ethan Stone of Chatsworth entered a home wearing masks and were armed with a knife.
Sheriff Childress said property was stolen from the home and two victims within the residence were transported to area hospital for treatment of injuries. Both victims survived. Measaw and Stone were arrested in April.
At the time of the arrest, Measaw was on parole from a five year prison sentence for residential burglary out of Livingston and Ford Counties.
Measaw has filed a motion to have the judge reconsider his sentence. Meanwhile, Stone has pleaded not guilty and will stand trial on January 10th.
