Chebanse man arrested following police chase

26-year-old Samuel Hines of rural Chebanse was jailed in Watseka after Iroquois County Sheriff's Police charged him with aggravated fleeing & alluding.  Hines is also charged with endangering the life and health of a child, driving while license suspended, possession of meth and drug materials and resisting arrest.  Sheriff's Police also said Hines had two warrants out of Kankakee County for traffic offenses.

40-year-old Deitrick Baines of rural Martinton was jailed in Watseka after Iroquois County deputies arrested him Friday for failure to appear on traffic offenses.  Baines was also wanted on warrants in Kankakee County.

A Sheldon man, 29-year-old Jeffery Schmidt, was held at the Iroquois County Jail Saturday.  He was arrested for 2-counts of domestic battery. aggravated battery to a peace officer and resiting arrest.
