A two vehicle-crash on Illinois Route 115 Friday killed a 52-year-old Chebanse man.

Christopher J. Whitlock was pronounced dead at Riverside Medical Center. Illinois State Police investigated at Kankakee County Roads 8000 S. at Cabery.

Police report Whitlock was westbound on West 8000S Road approaching Illinois 115 at about 4:30 pm. He failed to yield at the stop sign and collided with a Jeep headed northbound on Illinois 115.

Whitlock’s passenger, the driver of the Jeep and its passenger were taken to Riverside Medical Center.
