A skate park and basketball court project recently gained the approval of the Chebanse Village Board.

The Board approved an estimated $4,000 expense to develop the skate park at a reported cost of $900. The basketball court, which will include equipment and other necessary paint striping, carries a price tag of $3,000. Advertising potential may help defray costs.
