The Iroquois County Christmas Cards for Cancer program was a big success, according to spokesperson Sandra German. The local effort raised $4,480 to benefit the Iroquois County Relay for Life.

The Cards for Cancer program invites local citizens to make a contribtion toward cancer research with a holiday greeting that's published in area newspapers and aired on 94.1 WGFA Radio.

Volunteers thought the numbers may be down for this past holiday season, but when the numbers came in the end result was better than 2017. German extends her thanks to all for their generous support.
