Cissna Park bowling alley destroyed by fire

CISSNA PARK — Fire destroyed the bowling alley in Cissna Park Saturday morning. No injury was reported. The State Fire Marshall is investigating the cause.

Three dozen firemen from Cissna Park, Milford, Buckley, Loda, Rankin, and East Lynn answered the at 8:40 am. The Park Bowl Lanes was a popular business at the north edge of town.

No injury was reported.

A passerby reported the fire. There was no one in the building; the business was closed at the time. Firemen observed a large amount of smoke coming from the north end of the bowling alley and fire coming from the building's south end. A garage on the building's south side was engulfed in flames.

The bowling alley was owned by Jarrod Warner of Wellington.
