The Iroquois, Kankakee, Vermilion County and Champaign County Courthouses are among area government offices closed due to the weather. Many conty and federal offices closed to keep people home during the dangerous temperature readings.  Some willbe closed Thursday too.  Call ahead before venturing to any appointments.

The Watseka City Hall is also closed. Many public libraries are closed.  Businesses and manufacturiung sites have closed or altered schedules.  Again, call ahead before venturing to any expected meetings.

Central Illinois Post Offices will not deliver.  Secretary of State facilities are closed.  In Watseka, the DMV facility on E. Walnut Street closed down Tuesday.  The office will re-locate to a new location in downtown Watseka at123 W. Walnut on Tuesday, February 5.
