Contingency Plan: Iroquois County talks about moving forward

Discussions were underway (Thursday) in Iroquois County concerning suggestions on how to address COVID-19 concerns – now that the economy is beginning its re-opening. The County Board Policy & Procedure committee heard about the contingency plan outlined by health officials. The plan provides some protocol should Governor JB Pritzker’s ‘Restore Illinois” plan be ruled unconstitutional.

The County Board gave the health department the lead in coming up with a plan that could help in getting things opened up – following the weeks of limited activity due to the pandemic.

The health department contingency plan would serve as recommendations to guide businesses in directing their efforts in moving forward and also keeping everyone safe and healthy.
