The shooting death of a man in the Village of Bradley in 2020 is sending 39-year-old Cory Williams to prison for the rest of his natural life. In Kankakee Circuit Court Tuesday, Williams was sentenced to 75 years for the death of Antonio Allen. Williams won't be eligible for parole until 2093 at the age of 109.
"While no sentence will ever heal the wounds of the loss for Antonio's family and friends, we hope they find some closure knowing the murderer will spend the rest of his natural life, and die, in prison," State's Attorney Jim Rowe said.
Williams' background includes convictions for drugs, robbery and armed robbery. Rowe thanked the efforts of his prosecuting team and police agencies for the collaborative police work.
