Cop Killer's defense attorney withdraws

One of two accused defendants charged with the killing of a Bradley (IL) police Sgt. and the wounding of another officer is in search of a new lawyer.  Darius Sullivan's attorney filed a motion to withdraw Friday.  The motion was granted by Judge Kathy Bradshaw-Elliott.  Another court date was set for March 7.

Sullivan and Xandria Harris are charged with murder, attempted murder and aggravated battery with a firearm.  Both remain jailed without bond.  Sg.t Marlene Rittmanic died of injuries when ambushed by the pair at a Bradley motel December 29.  Officer Tyler Bailey continues his rocovery.
