COUNTRY Financial and local county farm bureaus are hosting Feed a Farmer events throughout the state of Illinois this week by providing free meals for farmers leading up to National Farmer Day Saturday.

In Iroquois County, Bob Burd and the Ford-Iroquois Farm Bureau will host an event on Wednesday at 11 am at the COUNTRY Financial office in Watseka. Brenna Hildenbrand and the Ford-Iroquois Farm Bureau will host an event on Friday at 4pm at the Gilman COUNTRY Financial office.

The events will also allow farmers to connect with one another at a public location. The first 25 farmers to attend may receive a cooler bag.
