The proposed re-appointments of three of the four Iroquois County representatives who serve the Ford-Iroquois Public Health Department is a hot topic on today’s agenda for the Iroquois County Board meeting.
The meeting is at the Administrative Center in Watseka at 9 am.
The Policy & Procedure committee voted last week to send the matter to the full Board today. County Board Chairman Rod Copas called for the current members of the Health Board to resign or be replaced.
Board of Health members say “there’s been nothing done wrong and they won’t resign..”
Other Board of Health members are calling for the Iroquois County Board members to account for their own actions.
