More than 6.5 percent of the state’s population has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The 7-day rolling average number of vaccines administered is 77,800. Nearly three-quarters of the state’s allotment of vaccines for long-term care residents have now been administered. Meanwhile, there are now 68 reported COVID-19 variants reported in Illinois, all but one of which are the UK variant.
