The Illinois crop report for the week ending Sunday shows 77% of the soybeans are blooming and 38% setting pods.  The report shows 64% of the cop is rated good to excellent condition.

As for corn, 91 percent of the crop is silking and 20 percent is now in the dough stage.  Sixty-eight percent of the corn crop is rated good to excellent.

Ninety-three percent of the second cutting of alfalfa hay is now complete.
